Trailer Choir is an American country music duo composed of vocalists Marc Fortney and Vinny Hickerson, known by their respective stage names Butter and Big Vinny. The group began as a trio with Crystal Hoyt and was signed to Show Dog Nashville, a label owned by Toby Keith, in 2007. After recording the song "Off the Hillbilly Hook" for the soundtrack to Keith's film Beer for My Horses, Trailer Choir charted the singles "What Would You Say", "Rockin' the Beer Gut" and "Rollin' Through the Sunshine" on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. These singles were followed by an extended play called Off the Hillbilly Hook and an album called Tailgate.
The Morrison Brothers Band
The Morrison Brothers Band is an unsigned group whose sound fuses elements of Southern Rock, Pop and Country Music. As one critic from Picket magazine described The Morrison Brothers Band’s sound, “It’s as if Van Morrison, O.A.R. and the Eagles had a baby.”
Jeff Vaughn Band
Jeff Vaughn Band is an up and coming country band that understands the concept of holding the songwriters of our past up to a high standard. At their shows they often cover songs from back in the day that most bands wouldn’t choose to cover at their shows. Jeff Vaughn Band will make their debut in Phillips at the Northwoods Stampede and we are sure they will have continued success!
Outshyne consists of 5 guys from Laurens, SC whose deep seeded southern roots have been the foundation for their country rock sound. Together since April 2007, the band members have a passion for what they do and like everyone else have a dream. A dream to share their music with the world and through dedication and determination are taking the steps to make that dream come true.
In 2009, Bridgette Tatum co-wrote the Most Played Song on country radio stations across the United States. A tremendous achievement for any songwriter, the song, “She’s Country” (recorded and released by Platinum-selling country superstar Jason Aldean), held the #1 position on the chart for two consecutive weeks, which is a rare accomplishment, as well.
